Canned Ammunition
![]() |
Attention: Due to overwhelming demand on ammunition manufacturers, we have recently received word that new orders maybe 2-4 months out. Because of this, we are no longer accepting orders on the following calibers: .22 LR, 5.56, 9 MM, .38 Special. We will have some other calibers available as a first come first serve, while supplies last only, sale. Current orders are still waiting on our shipment to arrive from Federal Ammunition. Please be patient with us while we anxiously await our ammunition. We are trying our best to get orders out as quickly as possible but can only do that when the ammunition arrives. If you have any questions regarding your open order, please email us at Sales@ReadyReserveFoods.com.
Canned Ammunition - Ammo-In-A-Can by Ready Reserve Ammo, Inc.
Today's modern weapons demand clean, high quality ammunition to work properly. Any dirt, dust, corrosion, rust, or defects can cause precision hand guns and rifles to misfire, jam, or can even cause damage to the weapon. Since the modern cartridge was developed, about 150 years ago, ammunition has been sold in a box, a cardboard box. The future of ammunition packaging is here, AMMO IN A CAN.
Ammo In a Can is a patented process that removes the atmosphere from inside the can and replaces it with dry, inert nitrogen gas. Without moisture or oxygen in the can, the ammunition does not deteriorate, corrode, or rust. This gives the ammo an indefinite shelf life, regardless of the environment outside the can. The can is enameled to insulate the rounds from electrolysis. Just use the pop-top lid to open and the plastic overcap will give the remaining rounds reasonable containment and protection from the elements. No box to fall apart and spill ammunition everywhere.
The ammunition is easily transported inside the can and fits neatly in a coat or jacket pocket, try doing that with a cardboard box. Sealed tight in the can, your ammunition will store for a lifetime or more, it can be passed down from generation to generation, easily cached if need be, and stored safely in a metal can. These are all NEW rounds, NOT reloads. The ammo and the can are all made in the United States of America!
Current Orders and Future Orders:
Current Open Orders: We are expecting our next shipment any day between 4/3 - 4/5. As soon as that ammunition is received, it will immediately be canned into its final packaging (may take up to 2-3 business days). Orders will then be shipped out in the order they were received (may take up to an additional 2-5 business days.) Our goal is to ship out orders as quickly and accurately as we possibly can. Please know that no one wants our shipment to arrive faster than we do.
Future Orders: Orders with the ETA of 4/15/13 are going to be filled using the second shipment we are expecting in on or around 4/15 - 4/19. This ammunition shipment will also be immediately canned into its final packaging once it is received. Orders will then be shipped out in the order they were received. The process may take up to 7-10 business days from when it is received. Our goal is to ship out orders as quickly as possible. |
